Offices located at 10625 Holden Circle, Franktown, CO 80116. We provide property adjusting services to some of the largest insurance companies in the Midwest, Texas and Florida. Carwood Claims was founded in 2000 and incorporated in 2003 by Michael Gatewood and Linda Carson who each own 50% of the company and are President and Vice President respectively.  Mr. Gatewood has over 20 years of diversified and interrelated experience in all areas of management as it relates to the Insurance Claim Industry. These include setting up start up operations in various states, hiring, staffing and training as well as marketing new and existing clients.  Mr. Gatewood has been the senior manager in numerous large catastrophe events during the past 20 years that involve management of over 10,000 claims per event with dollar figures in excess of $150 million paid out by the Insurance Carriers for the separate catastrophic events.  Ms. Carson has 15 years of diversified experience in the Insurance Claim Industry. She has played a key role for Carwood Claims in marketing new and existing clients as well as hiring and training adjusters both new and experienced.
    

Carwood Claims has 42 full time adjusters and 164 Cat adjusters. The full time daily property adjusters are strategically placed across the states of Colorado, Texas and Florida. The average years of property experience our staff has is 13.5 with many NFIP certified. All are proficient in the Xactimate estimating system and many of our claims are uploaded thru the Xactanalysis Claims System by Xactware as a paperless file for our various clients. Additionally, Carwood Claims has 2 full-time clerical support personnel and hire additional part-time clerical support as needed to support our operations for Cat operations.
